I remember when i heard that Game Freak was making a mini Anime series based very closely to the original Pokémon games (unlike the actual Anime, but that is for another day). I was so excited for this show! I watched it as soon as the English sub came out, and i was amazed!

So the show starts out with Red, who wants to be a Pokémon Master! His rival Blue (or Green, but i'll be calling him Blue...cause i'm American...) also has this same dream! The two of them receive a Charmander and Squirtle respectively, and two Pokédex's, so what do i think of this 4 episode mini-series?

IT IS BEYOND EPIC!!!! It is awesome seing Red go from the bottom to the top. As he collects more Pokémon and collects more badges, we see him grow as a trainer. It's really epic to see him grow, and if you played the original games, you'll have a huge nostalga rush! My only gripes about the series is that i felt like the only Pokémon that you saw had an amazing relationship with him, was his Charmander. I wish that we could see his attachment to like his Jolteon or Scyther, but this is a 4 episode anime, so there isn't too much content. Which leads into my NEXT point! This show was sooooo close to being perfect. The action was intense, the story was great, and the characters were very interesting. However, i wish it was longer!!!! There are only 4 episodes! While the Pokémon Anime has more that 800! I mean its so unfair...i wish that they made it a lot longer. The only gym battles we get to see are the 1st and 8th, while the others are only flashbacks. And they skipped the ENTIRE Elite 4, except for the final two Pokémon that fight in the Champion battle. But the final battle is sooo awesome!

Overall, this mini-series is a masterpiece, and will never be forgotten in Pokémon's history. It's something that i hope they add onto. Everything about it is amazing, except the fact that it is way too short. In Dub v.s. Sub, i say to watch it Dubbed, because i don't like watching it in Japanese, because they call Pokémon different names. After watching the Subbed version, i kept calling Charizard "Lizardon". So i prefer the Dub version. Comment below what you think about Pokémon Origins! And make sure to check my blog frequently for daily posts!!!

A lot of people know how to play Pokémon, but much less people do not know of the competitive side of Pokémon. X and Y have made huge steps in making your dream team easier to create. For EV training, we now have Super Training, which Is very easy to do. But today, I'll be teaching you how to IV breed for the perfect Pokémon!

Step 1: Get all the necessary supplies

These are all the items that I use to IV breed:

All the Power items (Weight, Bracer, Belt, Lens, Band, and Anklet) which can be bought at the Battle Maison for 16 BP each

Destiny Knot and Everstone

6 Dittos at the most (make sure you have a ditto that has 31 IVs in any stat. if it has 2 perfect IV stats, that is better)

Talonflame with the move Fly (to go from the Day-Care to Kiloude City) and the ability Flame Body (to hatch eggs much faster, and Hatching Power is not needed, but it does help a lot.)

Way to Kiloude City (the man with the purple hair in the Pokémon Center check the potential of your Pokémon, if he mentions a stat, or multiple stats, and says that they "simply can't be beat!' then that stat is perfect.

Step 2: Breeding for the perfect Nature

Each Nature boosts a stat 10%, and decreases another by 10%, while 5 Natures don't do anything. For our Bisharp, we want one with the Adamant Nature, which boosts his Attack, and lowers his Special Attack. Keep breeding your Bisharp with a Ditto with 31 IVs in Attack, and make that Ditto hold the Power Bracer while it is in the Day Care with the Bisharp. It doesn't matter what the Bisharp is holding. Keep breeding the Attack Ditto and the Bisharp until you get a Pawniard with an Adamant Nature.

Step 3: Breeding the other stats

Now that we have an Adamant Pawniard with 31 IVs in Attack, let's continue. Take the new Pawniard, and breed it with a Ditto with perfect HP. Have the Ditto hold the Power Weight, and breed it with the Attack Pawniard holding the Power Bracer. Keep breeding until you get a Pawniard with perfect IVs in HP and Attack. (This new Pawniard has to be the opposite gender of the first Pawniard we bred that is Adamant.)

Breed the Adamant Pawniard holding the Everstone with the HP and Attack Pawniard holding the Destiny Knot. The Destiny Knot passes down the IVs from 5 of the 12 stats from both parents, while the Everstone passes down the nature of the parent that is holding it. So keep breeding the two Pawniards until you get a Pawniard with perfect IVs in HP and Attack, and an Adamant nature.

Using those tactics, now breed that Pawniard with the other Dittos with Perfect IVs in Defense, Special Defense, and Speed. We don't need the Pawniard to have 31 IVs in Special Attack, because we want his moveset to be all physical moves.

So Pokémon X and Y have been out for almost two months and since my blog just started, I thought this would be a perfect first post for it. They were announced in January 2013 and I followed these games like a hawk! And you can bet that I got this game the day it came out! So what do I think of the newest entries in the series of Pokémon?

First off the graphics. Graphics DO NOT make an entire game, but X and Y are the first Pokémon games in 3D, and the graphics are insanely good! I can say without a doubt that these games are the most beautiful 3DS games out right now. The battle animations are amazing as well! There was always a move that I've seen since Gen 1, and seeing it in 3D gives me a nostalgia bomb! And older Pokémon make an amazing transition into 3D! I get that they were trying to make the game cell-shaded, kind of like the Wind Waker, and they pulled it off!

Next is gameplay. Game Freak did not hold anything back when making this game! They made sure that Pokémon would be as fun as it could be, and they did it! Battles feel faster, the game up to the first gyms aren't as slow as in previous games, and the story is actually pretty good! I thought that since Game Freak went all out for the story in Black and White, they would be lazy for the story in Black And White, but no! They were able to make an amazing story I'll never forget! No spoilers but Lysandre is a boss!!! Oh, and i almost forgot....MEGA EVOLUTION!!!!! Game Freak was taking a big risk, but Mega evolution fits perfectly into the series. Making your already cool and strong Pokémon even more cool and strong is an amazing concept. My only gripe with the mechanic is that only one of your Pokémon can mega evolve per battle, but it makes sense, because they got to keep it fair. But not only Mega Pokémon, with every new generation, we got new Pokémon! Oh my gosh, these Pokémon are pretty cool! They are not the coolest Pokémon, but we have some great competitive Pokémon like Greninja, Aegislash, Noivern, Goodra, and many others. Sure we have some stupid pointless Pokémon like Dedenne, but that comes with any Pokémon game. A problem I have with the game is that there are only 69 new Pokémon released, with only 3 legendary Pokémon. Really? I have no idea why they didn't add more Pokémon. However, there are 450 Pokémon to catch in both games, so at least there is a huge regional dex.

Overall, this game was a masterpiece. There are a TON of Pokémon in this game, and with the amazingly beautiful graphics, i haven't been able to put down this game. I give this game a 10/10!!!!! GO PLAY THIS GAME!!!!!!!

(I'll be making more blog posts on the different Pokémon, my thoughts on different things the series, and so
